Adam Schiff is Playing Dirty to Win California Senate Seat

And I’m seriously disappointed with Katie Porter

There’s some dirty doings happening in the race for the late Dianne Feinstein’s old Senate seat. May she rest in peace now that she is out of the clutches of her “good friend” Nancy Pelosi. With friends like that, who needs enemies?

Pelosi isn’t done with that seat, though. She wants it for her lapdog … I mean protégé … Adam Schiff. He should have been a shoo-in, with great name recognition and tons of money, but then Katie Porter jumped into the race.

Here’s where it gets interesting. Schiff took a chunk of his enormous campaign war chest and bought ads on Fox touting Republican and former first baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres, Steve Garvey as a threat to Democrats’ control of Congress.

Now, why in the world would Schiff, a Democrat, be running ads supporting the candidacy of his Republican opponent? It’s all thanks to the way California elects its officials.

First, they have a primary and then the top two finishers of that election run against each other in a runoff election. In Schiff’s eyes, Garvey is easier to beat than Porter so he wants Garvey to come in second in the primary rather than Porter.
