All of my writing on Medium are stories about myself but I never considered them memoirs. I do agree with you about leaving things out. I find myself taking out a lot of what I realize is extraneous information, information that is not necessary to move the story forward.

PS — it’s not often that I run into someone who spells their name the same way that mine is spelled!
