As I noted, they can be impeached and removed, although I think that they would resign if impeached. Trump expects loyalty from his three appointees. If they stray from their loyalty oath to him, he will either ask Congress to impeach them or hound them off the bench as he hounded Jeff Sessions forcing him to resign and as he is hounding Mitch McConnell trying to force his resignation. Do you see the pattern?
