Biden had a shortlist of talented Black women to choose from, any of whom would have made a better VP than Harris. He chose Harris because she was a friend of the family and of his late son, Beau. Besides her race, that was her only qualification. I was shocked and disappointed when he chose her. Little did we know, but that was the first red flag that should have told us what a shambles his presidency would turn out to be.
