What a sad end to a formerly illustrious career
Joey, Joey, Joey. Ya gotta stop breaking your promises. You promised you would only serve one term and then you ran again, flamed out spectacularly, then saddled the country with … okay, I won’t go there.
You also promised you wouldn’t pardon Hunter and then you turned around and gave him a blanket pardon covering any crimes he may have committed from January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024.
Joey, I know that you love your son, but he is an addict and a criminal, and needs to be held accountable for his misdeeds just like everybody else. Except Trump. Trump is never held accountable for anything that he has done.
Yes, I know that you are worried that Hunter will relapse under the pressure, But addicts everywhere face that same fear. Some relapse, most don’t. You can’t protect Hunter for the rest of his life. It’s his addiction and he has to learn to manage it.
And, Joey, your reasoning is faulty too. Hunter was not targeted because you are his father. He committed crimes to support his drug habit. By blaming “politics,” you sound like Trump and nobody wants to sound like Trump.
