Biden’s Lame Letter to Congress
It would have been hilarious if it wasn’t so sad
So, Biden wrote an open letter to Congressional Democrats outlining his reasons for not dropping out of the race. You can read it here.
Know what it reminded me of? Back when you were a teenager and were sick of your parents treating you like a baby cuz you thought you were all grown up, so you wrote an impassioned letter outlining all the reasons that you were too old and too mature to be treated like a child.
At the time, you considered it a masterpiece filled with irrefutable logic. Your parents, on the other hand, had a good laugh at it.
I had the same good laugh as I read Biden’s “masterpiece.” Let’s examine it more closely, shall we?
“I have had extensive conversations with the leadership of the party, elected officials, rank and file members, and most importantly, Democratic voters over these past 10 days or so. I have heard the concerns that people have — their good faith fears and worries about what is at stake in this election.”
And yet, he is still in the race. I’m not sure who he has been talking to, but the rest of us know that most of the groups he mentions want him to drop out of the race.
