Boomer here and you are correct in your analysis. Harkening back to the protests of the 60s, I am hoping that the BLM protests will spur youth and minorities to vote. And that the twin disasters of the pandemic and economic depression will open the eyes of the blue collar workers to the evils of Trumpism. As for my own generation, sadly I have to agree with you. Nothing seems able to penetrate their sense of entitlement and self-satisfaction. No wonder young people have cheered on the pandemic as the “Boomer Remover".
