Both Decisions on Monday Will Benefit Trump

Once more, he will escape any consequences to his behavior

Trump is one lucky son-of-a-bitch. I think I’ve said that before, but it bears repeating. It’s like he was born with Teflon skin. Nothing sticks. Everything slides right off.

While the rest of us have to carefully weigh every decision in our lives because we know we will have to live with the consequences, good or bad, Trump just serenely sails through life, doing whatever the fuck he wants with no worries that there will ever be consequences. Or if there are consequences, they will end up being positive.

Okay, now that I have that out of my system, let’s take a look at what set me off. Two decisions were made on Monday in two of Trump’s court cases, supposedly one good and one bad. Personally, I think that both will end up being good for Trump.

Let’s look at the obviously good one first. The appeals court reduced Trump’s bond to $175 million, a convenient amount that he can either get a bond for or pay for himself. He has about $350 million, give or take, in cash, so this is no sweat.

Here’s why I’m pissed off. The legal pundits are saying that the lowering of his bond is an indication that the fine itself will be drastically reduced upon appeal.
