Oh, Clarence. You’re incorrigible. It’s not enough that you routinely accepted gifts and vacations from wealthy friends who weren’t really your friends. Now you’ve gone and given the most sought-after internship in the legal profession, an internship at the Supreme Court, to someone you and your beloved Ginni refer to as your “nearly adopted daughter.”
A Supreme Court internship in your own office. You didn’t recommend her to one of your buddies on the Court. Nope, you appointed her to yourself. They have a word for that, Clarence … nepotism. I’m surprised you don’t know it. Or maybe you do know it and think that it doesn’t apply to you, like the pesky word “ethics.”

Crystal Clanton was a conservative activist who was a founder of Turning Point USA whose mission is to increase the influence of conservative students on college campuses across the country. There was an unfortunate incident in 2017 where she sent a bunch of racist texts including one that said “I HATE BLACK PEOPLE.”
