Colorado Supreme Court Expecting Violence After They Disqualified Trump From Running
Trump has normalized violence and the threat of violence
Well, I suppose you are expecting me to comment on the ruling by the Colorado Supreme Court disqualifying Trump from appearing on the ballot. What can I say, except that I agree with it?
That it doesn’t matter whether the president is an officer of the United States or if the oath sworn by a president is the correct one as cited in the amendment. That’s all “how many angels can dance on the head of a pin” shit.
What matters is that anyone who sends a mob to overturn the results of an election, interfere with the workings of Congress, and attempt to assassinate the vice president and the speaker of the house, is not qualified to run for president of the country that they tried to overthrow. Period. End of conversation.
Seriously, why was this even an issue? Imagine if this were another country and we were the onlookers. I think we could all agree that the person who did all that was not qualified to run for office again in that country.
