Conservative Men Want To Enslave Women
They want to ban no-fault divorce, abortion, and contraception
Hey, thanks for stopping by. Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of time to chat today. I’m scouring the Constitution. When I was in school … back when dinosaurs roamed the earth … we were taught that slavery was outlawed.
But it has come to my attention that there is apparently an exception for wives in red states. I just can’t seem to find it in the Constitution.
What the hell am I talking about?
Red states and the Republican Party want to abolish no-fault divorce laws. They want to go back to the old “must prove fault” divorce laws that made it more difficult for women to divorce their husbands.
Nowadays, all wives have to do is visit a divorce lawyer, file some papers, and voilà, divorce happens. This does not go down well with conservative men.
Think of what they are losing when their wives divorce them. Study after study has found that women do the majority of the cooking, the cleaning, the laundry, and child rearing while bringing home the bacon with full-time jobs.
And men don’t have to pay a dime for any of this. It’s just the perks of marriage. And then there is the sex, also…
