DeSantis Pisses Off the Police
There’s a reason why they fly Chinese drones
Dontcha just love it when MAGA morons don’t think things through? They come up with these bright ideas to further their ideology, but never take a moment or two to think about the possible consequences.
Take Ron DeSantis, for instance. The Dark Lord of Florida issued an executive order last year that would make it more difficult for “hostile foreign powers” to do business in Florida.
Part of that was a ban on Florida government agencies purchasing products from companies based in China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, and Venezuela.
Sounds good, right? Hit ’em where it hurts, right in the pocketbook. Not gonna let any commie, socialist, godless foreign company profit off of American taxpayer funds.
No sirree, only gonna buy good ol’ American-made goods which are always superior if a bit pricier. But it’s worth the extra money to maintain security, both economically and militarily.
Well, it turns out that the Dark Lord should have checked with his police, firefighters, and even the mosquito control teams before signing that order. If he had, he would have found that they all use drones made by a Chinese company called DJI.
