Did DeSantis Just Imply That He Was a Navy SEAL?
Sure sounded like it and the SEALs aren’t happy
Well, it looks like during the Republican primary debate, I wasn’t the only one who sat up and said WTF? The Navy SEAL community is very unhappy with a little troll who lives under a bridge in Florida.
Yes, Ron DeSantis, the fascist dictator of Florida, implied that when he was in the Navy, he was a SEAL. No, he didn’t come right out and say it. He’s a lawyer and knows better than to blatantly lie.
He just implied it and allowed everyone to draw their own conclusions.
“I learned in the military — I was assigned with the U.S. Navy SEALs in Iraq — that you focus on the mission above all else, you can’t get distracted.”

Yeah, if you kinda squint your eyes and suspend belief … or you’re a MAGA moron who gets a hard-on when he hears the words Navy SEALs … I can almost see mistaking that statement for a declaration of SEAL-dom.
The reality, of course, is that DeSantis was a lawyer in the JAG Corp. and went to Iraq to advise the SEALS on how to lawfully engage with and “interrogate” the enemy. The quotations are…
