Did Trump Just Confess?

Those “I did nothing wrong” speeches sound suspiciously like confessions

I never thought I would say this, but this whole Trump arraignment thing is getting old. It’s the same thing every time.

Trump flies into town. Creates massive traffic jams with his ostentatious motorcades. Goes to the courthouse. Gets fingerprinted. No mugshot. No handcuffs. Sits petulantly, but silently, in the courtroom. Leaves the courthouse. More traffic jams. Flies out. Gives speech at his club declaring his innocence.

Yawn.

God, I can’t believe that we’re going to have to go through two more times. When Fani Willis, the Fulton County, Georgia, district attorney, indicts him for election interference and when Jack Smith, the special counsel, indicts Trump for his role in the January 6 insurrection.

The only excitement will be guessing who will indict first.

Even Melania is sick of it. She didn’t attend his New York indictment because she was at Mar-a-Lago and couldn’t take time out from her busy schedule to accompany her husband to New York. This time, she used the excuse that she had a dentist appointment.

Seriously? She would rather go to the dentist than support her husband in court?
