Betcha thought that I was going to write about the new NBC poll that shows Biden slipping further behind Trump, didn’t you? Or that Biden’s approval rating has hit a new low. Sorry to disappoint you. But don’t worry, I’m just saving it for another time.
Today, I want to revisit a topic we have discussed before — the Trump veepstakes. I’m still rooting for Elise Stefanik, by the way.
Didja see Kellyanne Conway’s op ed in the New York Times? I haven’t laughed that hard in ages. First of all, she thinks that she’s all smart and shit cuz she was the one who picked Pence in 2016. Now, that may have worked out for the rest of us, but from Trump’s point of view, Pence was a fucking disaster, refusing to follow instructions to throw out electoral votes.
So, I’m not entirely sure where she gets the idea that she is any kind of authority on a Trump running mate. I’ll spare you the ridiculous criteria she says Trump should use to choose a running mate. Ridiculous, because her criteria clearly show that she does not know a single thing about Trump.
Conway’s conclusion is that Trump should choose a person of color. She says “person,” but her list consists of all men. Here is her list of recommendations:
