Hi John! Thanks for sharing your opinion. Trans people are not asking for preferential status. They just want the same "status" as everyone else. That is a difficult concept for you as a cis-gender white male to grasp because you are at the top of the social pyramid and don't experience discrimination like women, minorities, and members of the LGBTQ+ community do.
I'm curious about your point about "mutilation." Let's talk about Angelina Jolie. She had a double mastectomy and full hysterectomy to prevent cancer. Is that mutilation? Is she still a woman even though everything that makes her a woman has been removed? How about the breast implants she got? Is that mutilation? Is that a "poor quality imitation" of a woman?
How do you account for hermaphrodites, people who are born with both male and female reproductive organs? Are they male or female? Usually neither set of genitalia work so are they neither male nor female? If they remove one set of genitalia, is that considered mutilation?
And now for your last point which sent me into gales of laughter. According to you, intercourse is the only way to have sex, right? I'm going to assume that you are a young man who doesn't know a time before Viagra. Before the advent of Viagra, as men aged, they were unable to get and keep an erection so they were incapable of intercourse and could only "rub private and delicate body parts." So you might want to rethink your definition of sex.
Lastly, most conservatives consider themselves Christian, yet the Christianity that I was taught said that only God can judge. You sound awfully judge-y. Does that mean that you are God?
