Hmmm . . . I hadn't considered the decision in that light. I was thinking more along the lines of the justices seeing that Trump was rejected by the voters so they are no longer beholden to him.

Now they can concentrate on their real job of forcing the country back to the 50s by overturning abortion, civil rights and environmental and labor regulations.
