How long have you been following Trump's career? I've been following it since the 70s. The man was the laughing stock of the New York real estate world because he is so incredibly stupid. He was famous for making bad investments, overpaying for buildings and then selling them for less than he paid for them. Everyone took advantage of him because he couldn't negotiate his way out of a paper bag.
He was pretty much washed up as a real estate developer when he was approached to do The Apprentice. And even they had problems with him because he refused to follow their scripts and would make incredibly bad decisions forcing them to re-shoot everything to somehow justify his bad decision.
And of course, he won the 2016 election with the help of Russia. He has been a Russian asset for years. American and European banks stopped funding his projects because he was such a bad businessman. Russia stepped in with funding and took control of him. Putin is former KGB. He is trained to recruit and run assets like Trump.
If you recall, all of his meetings as president with Putin were secret. No Americans attended except a translator and Trump destroyed the translator's notes after each meeting. No one knows for sure what went on in those meetings except Trump was always suddenly singing Putin's praises.
It's so easy to know what Trump is thinking because he thinks out loud. He's too stupid to know that he should keep some things to himself.
