I agree with you. It’s frightening knowing that red states can form what is in reality a private army answerable only to the governors of those states. If a civil war broke out, those states with a state guard have a ready force to fight.

I think that we all have to watch carefully what happens in the years leading up to the 2024 presidential election. If red states that currently don’t have state guards suddenly start establishing them, then we need to sound alarms because they will be preparing for civil war.
