I have volunteered for years with multiple organizations that interface with students and young people. Those students and young people are all unanimous in believing that Social Security will not be around when they retire and they are all resentful about paying for the older generations' retirements. However, they don't believe that they can do anything about it because they are too busy just trying to keep their heads above water financially.
