I understand. I have a Trump supporting friend who couldn't grasp government funded healthcare. They were sure it would mean onerous taxes. I explained over and over that with government funded healthcare, the taxes would be less than the premiums, co-pays, co-insurance and minimums that they were paying. They couldn't grasp the concept of all of those payments going away and thought that the taxes to pay for the healthcare would be on top of what they were already paying.
