I understand what you are saying, but I believe that standards should be different for public servants, especially the president. Trump is unhealthy. He is obese, his diet is awful and he doesn’t exercise. This is a problem because he could literally keel over dead at any time. The other problem is that as we age, our thinking becomes more rigid. Plus he is a technophobe. In the modern world, we need leaders who are flexible, able to adapt to changing circumstances and who understand and use technology. Trump can’t do any of those things.

I have never tried to hide my age. I readily admit in most of my stories that I am a Baby Boomer. I know how my body and my intellect are changing as I age. I speak regularly with medical professionals about how age is affecting me. I speak with my age cohort about how aging is affecting them. The concensus is that the country would be better off with younger leaders who understand the 21st century, not the 20th century.
