If he wants to run for president, the legislature has to suspend the resign to run law, so that he continue as governor while he runs for president.

If he doesn't run or loses the nomination, then his current term will end in 2026. The Florida constitution limits governors to two consecutive terms, so he can't run again in 2026. If he waits until the next gubernatorial election in 2030, he can run for governor again. There is no limit to how many times someone can serve as governor. They just can't serve more than two consecutive terms.
