I'm not so sure that Democrats are doing any actual governing, especially in the Senate. Schumer has been the worst majority leader in modern history by allowing Manchin and Sinema to go rogue. His job was to rein them in, unite the Democrats and give Democrats something to run on in November. Instead, he spent inordinate amounts of time away from DC, choosing to preen for the cameras in NY, more concerned with re-election than with governing. He is handing the midterms to the Republicans, contributing to the downfall of the US.
