It's now $2 and a dream but other than that I agree with your thoughts. It will be difficult changing the Constitution as long as the current conservative justices are warming seats on SCOTUS. They enjoy parsing the wording and intent of the authors of the Constitution. They won't look kindly on any radical changes to their favorite document because those changes would make them irrelevant.
