I've been writing on HubPages since 2008. It was a wonderful site to write for until it was sold to Maven. It has been going downhill since then. Both traffic and earnings are evaporating. This trend has accelerated since the advent of the Arena Group. Not only do I not recommend HubPages/Maven/Arena, I have stopped writing new articles there and am in the process of moving my existing articles off the site.
