There are no insurrectionists imprisoned in "gulags" because gulags do not exist in the US. They are all being held in regular federal prisons.

I had the privilege of making the aquaintance of a very nice Russian gentleman who had been an unwilling inhabitant of a Russian gulag so I know more about gulags than most Americans. Can you say the same?
