Judge Engeron Imposes a Gag Order on Trump
Will it be enough to stop the threats and name calling?
Trump is such a toddler. It’s as if he is permanently stuck in the Terrible Twos. He has to keep pushing boundaries and pushing boundaries, daring the adult in charge to stop him.
Well, the adult in charge just stopped him.
He’s been told repeatedly, both by his legal team and the presiding judges on his numerous trials, to stop with the threats and name calling on his social media accounts and in his remarks to the press. Instead of stopping, Trump just gets more and more outrageous.
We all knew that it was just a matter of time before one of the judges put their foot down and issued a gag order. The only question was, which judge?
We knew it wouldn’t be sycophant Judge Aileen Cannon who probably wears a Trump mugshot t-shirt under her robes. I bet it’s even autographed.
Maybe no-nonsense Judge Tanya Chutkan? She’s tough. She didn’t hesitate to impose the harshest sentences on Jan 6 defendants.
But no, it was Judge Engeron presiding over Trump’s civil case for fraud in New York who was the first out of the starting gate with a gag order on Trump. Cuz you know the other judges will follow…
