Kathi, I don’t ever see Harris voluntarily stepping down. She seems blind to her own shortcomings.

And I don’t see Biden, barring ill-health, stepping aside. He thinks that he is fine but doesn’t seem to be aware how quickly that can change at his advanced age.

Or …

I wonder if he is running for re-election in a bid to boost Harris to the presidency. He knows that she can’t run and win, so if he is re-elected, he could then step aside, allowing her to assume the presidency. It’s always easier for an incumbent president to win re-election.

That would add to his accolades that he was the first to have a female minority VP and then was responsible for the first female minority president.
