My best friend is a Trump supporter. Our friendship pre-dates Trump's election by many years and we have an agreement to disagree. We value our friendship more than our politics. Having said that, whenever she does start going on some off-the-wall MAGA conspiracy theory, I gently bring her back down to earth with the facts and recommended reading. I like to think that I have made some headway with her because she won't be voting for Trump in 2024. She is beginning to see him as he really is and not as he claims or the conservative media portrays him.
