My money is on Newsom to beat Trump if he runs. Trump may not run because he is becoming more and more impaired. He may not make it to 2024 before he is drooling and soiling his pants.

Newsom seems to think his opponent will be DeSantis because he has been relentlessly attacking him since the summer. DeSantis can't retaliate in kind because he is running for re-election as governor and pretending that he has no intention of running for president.
