Our democracy will be lost by then. We need to take steps now. Despite the gerrymandering, Democrats increased their majority in the Senate and held the Republicans to a slim majority in the House. Remember the huge red wave everyone predicted? It didn’t happen. Right now we need to concentrate on Congress because Congress can enact laws that override the electoral mess in the states.
