Robert Kennedy May Be Leaving the Democratic Primary to Run as a Third Party Candidate
He is teasing a big announcement on October 9
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the anti-vax, conspiracy theory-believing candidate challenging Biden in the Democratic primary, is teasing a big announcement on October 9. Many expect it to be his announcement that he is leaving the Democratic primary race to run as a third-party candidate.
Of course, that has thrown the Democrats into a tizz because they think that he will syphon votes from Biden, allowing Trump, the anticipated Republican candidate, to win the election.
Democrats have become afraid of their own shadows when it comes to Biden winning the 2024 election. Any challenger that could possibly attract votes away from him is terrifying because they know that their own voters don’t want to vote for Biden.
Given any kind of a choice (lookin’ at you No Labels), Democratic voters will scurry away from Biden and into the arms of whatever candidate offers them a reasonable alternative.
The only way that Biden can win against Trump this time around is if there is absolutely no competition of any kind that can distract Democratic voters from their grim duty in the voting booth.
