Ron DeSantis Releases His Plan on Immigration
And I have a few questions
Ron DeSantis has released his first major policy. On immigration, of course. And it’s a doozey.
Here’s the short version. If you’re here and you shouldn’t be, you will be deported. If you try to sneak in, you will be stopped by deadly force. And if you want to claim asylum, hope you like Mexico cuz you’re gonna be there for a while.
Forget about working if you are not here legally. I always love this one. It shows how out of touch the MAGA crowd is. DeSantis wants all companies with 25 or more employees to use E-Verify to make sure that their workforce is legal.
He has already implemented it in Florida and people are leaving in droves. Now he wants to implement the policy nationwide if he is elected in 2024.
Maybe he should ask Trump why he changed his mind about this. Yeah, Trump said he was going to do this too. Until he was told that the farm workers who produce our food, the construction workers who build our buildings, the landscapers who mow the grass, and even the people who clean our homes and offices are mostly undocumented.
So, no undocumented workers means no food, no real estate, no immaculate lawns, and ya gotta scrub your own toilets. And how…
