Rutgers Professor Forced to Flee the Country
He has been wrongly accused of being a member of ANTIFA
Well, here’s one that hits close to home. A Rutgers professor is under attack by the campus chapter of Turning Point USA. I’m not a Rutgers Alum, but I do volunteer with several organizations that are affiliated with the university.
The professor in question, Mark Bray, who is not even a full professor, just an assistant teaching professor, is an expert on ANTIFA.
In case you’re wondering what an assistant teaching professor is, knowing Rutgers, it is probably a way of working him like a professor but without the tenure, salary and benefits of a professor.
He published a book in 2017 called “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook” and teaches courses on anti-fascism and terrorism. This is apparently enough to put him on the watch-list of hundreds of professors whom Turning Point USA accuses of advancing leftist propaganda in the classroom.
In Dr. Bray’s case, he is accused of being a member of ANTIFA (he’s not, he just studies the movement) and a terrorist. Ava Kwan, a Turning Point USA chapter member at Rutgers said:
