But where in the Constitution does it say that he has immunity?
SCOTUS saved their biggest decision for their last day in session and then scurried out of town to avoid dealing with the fallout.
Alito made a beeline to the Jersey shore to spend the summer practicing semaphore with his wife’s flags. Thomas hopped on a private plane and jetted off on yet another luxury vacation. Barrett, aka Stepford Wife 2.0, headed home to get her batteries changed and touch ups on the wear and tear of her exterior. Kavanaugh went off in search of beer. Gorsuch went shopping for a new copy of the Constitution. His is worn out from constant searching for what the authors REALLY meant. Roberts has resumed his search for more ways that SCOTUS can avoid having any ethics at all.

You weren’t surprised that SCOTUS ruled in favor of granting the immunity that Trump has been insisting he had as president, right? It was obvious when they waited until the last fucking minute to release the decision.
Oh, they tried to limit the immunity. It only applies to actions that are considered “official” acts. The problem is that with Trump, everything is an official act. Riling up a mob to invade…
