SCOTUS Has Agreed to Hear Trump’s Presidential Immunity Case
I have a theory why
Trump is one lucky son of a bitch. He has always been able to get away with everything for his entire life. I have to admit that I have always thought it was because he has been able to hire topnotch lawyers that were able to get him out of legal peril every time.
But it appears that I have been wrong all this time. Even without the best lawyers that money can buy, Trump is the luckiest bastard that I have ever seen.
Last year, he was all washed up. He had lost the 2020 election. He had almost single-handedly turned the expected 2022 midterm red wave into a trickle. He was quickly becoming a has-been.
Then he was indicted. Four times. 91 felony counts. And his popularity soared. He came roaring back to life.
By the way, long-time Trump watchers like myself have seen this phenomenon of Trump rising from the disasters of his own making and not just coming out on top, but flying higher than ever.
But I digress.
So many people thought all those indictments and charges meant the end of Trump. Surely even he couldn’t slither out from under all of that, could he?
