Some Republicans May Support Biden in November

They may be putting themselves in danger

Hey, remember back in the primaries for the 2022 midterms how Democrats were crossing party lines or even registering as Republicans just so they could elect MAGA extremists who were easily beaten in the general election?

The Hill is reporting that Republicans may do something similar in November if Trump is their nominee. Yup, they are saying they would vote for Biden rather than Trump because of Trump’s threat to democracy.

Imagine that!

“While I’ve never voted for a Democrat a day in my life, I would support Biden over Trump if he becomes the GOP nominee. I won’t support someone who refused to participate in a peaceful transfer of power, tried to overthrow a free and fair election, and incited a mob to attack the U.S. Capitol.”

So says Sarah Matthews, a former press aide on Trump’s 2020 campaign. She also served in the Trump White House and resigned on Jan. 6, 2021 like so many other Trump alumni who suddenly grew consciences after the insurrection.

Of course, is anyone surprised that former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) who served in the Jan 6 committee, would also rather vote for Biden than Trump?
