Sorry, I’m not Lauren nor do I hold her ultra-liberal views. As for the Second Amendment, it should have been repealed in the nineteenth century when the country finally had a standing army. The original purpose of the Second Amendment was to allow citizens to keeps arms so that they could be called up to serve in militias since there was no standing army. Once the armed forces were formalized, there was no need for militias or the Second Amendment.
