Texas is Suing New York Over Abortion Pills

They want to prevent NY doctors from mailing abortion pills to Texas women

Today, boys and girls, we are going to talk about my two favorite topics: Texas and abortion rights. Why are we talking about them? Because of a campaign promise that Trump made.

We’ll get to the promise in a moment. First, let’s talk about what Ken Paxton, the attorney general for the great state of Texas, has been up to. Texas, you may recall, has what amounts to a blanket ban on abortion. They have even put bounties on the heads of women who seek abortions, the doctors who provide them, even the people who drive women to get abortions.

On their wish list is gaining access to information on women’s menstrual cycles so that they will know when they are pregnant and if they terminated the pregnancy, and stopping women from leaving the state to obtain abortion care.

They haven’t quite gotten to the point where they can stop women from leaving the state, but good ol’ Kenny is trying to stop doctors who live and practice in states where abortion is legal from prescribing and mailing abortion pills to women who live in Texas where the pills are banned.

He is suing a doctor in New York for prescribing and mailing abortion pills to a resident of Collin…
