Texas Wants to Arrest Illegal Migrants
I want to know where they are going to put them
I think I’m going to start a new category of articles called “MAGA morons never think things through.” And we’ll start with Texas because … altogether now … it’s always Texas.
You may recall when desperate migrants were pouring over the border into Texas, overwhelming the small border towns, Gov. Greg Abbott was just as desperately trying to stop the massive influx of people using various physical barriers like shipping containers, razor wire, and, the ever popular expedient, push ’em back into the river.
Meanwhile northern Blue states were getting all judge-y, saying that if it were them, they would be welcoming migrants. Abbott had a eureka moment and said “if you want to welcome migrants, I’ll give you migrants to welcome,” and started bussing them to the northern sanctuary cities. At first, it was all rainbows and unicorns as the libs literally lined up to meet the buses and welcome the migrants.
Until they ran out of places to put them. And feed them. And clothe them. And send their children to school. You get the picture. At this point, rather than admit that they were wrong, they appealed to the federal government for help.
