The biggest problem here in the US is that no one wants Trump and Biden to run except Trump and Biden. If the Dems continue on their suicidal course with Biden as their nominee, their voters will either stay home or vote third party handing the election to the Repubs, no matter who their nominee is. More than half of Democratic voters do not want Biden to run and won't vote for him.
