The gun problem where in the US is very difficult for other countries to understand. The “no limitation on gun ownership” group is so strong that any tiny movement made in the direction of responsible gun control is considered an enormous victory by the rest of us. Trying to control guns in the US is like trying to wade through waist-deep mud. Tiny, tiny baby steps is the best that we can do.
