The irony here, which I should have emphasized more, is that the CPD is the creation of the DNC & RNC. Neither one on their own would reject it. But the GOP is firmly under Trump’s thumb and he always pulls out of any agreement, alliance or organization that he doesn’t like or that he thinks is treating him poorly.
