The Orange Elephant in the Room

Sorry, but I find the Trump hush money trial incredibly boring

Yes, I know that I have been ignoring the elephant in the room, specifically the large orange one that is currently sitting in a courtroom in lower Manhattan alternately sleeping and farting. But, come on. The trial has been a snoozefest.

We already know the prosecution’s strategy and who they are going to call as witnesses. And we already know the defense’s strategy. Although I have to admit that I was a bit surprised when Todd Blanche referred to Trump as a family man.

I wonder how long he had to practice saying that before he could say it with a straight face?

We already know what the testimony is going to be. And no, Trump will not be testifying. He will keep saying that he is going to testify until he and his team can come up with some bogus excuse why he won’t be testifying.

And the verdict will be no surprise either. Guilty. Will the orange elephant go to jail? Nope. Home confinement with an ankle monitor, but more likely probation. I kinda love the idea of Trump having to meet with a probation officer in a grubby government office on a regular basis.

If Trump is re-elected, will he continue to have to meet with his probation officer in that grubby…
