The Purge of the Military Has Begun
Trump wants to court martial anyone involved in the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan
NBC News is reporting that the Trump transition team is compiling a list of senior current and former U.S. military officers who were directly involved in the withdrawal from Afghanistan. Their goal is to determine if those officers could be court-martialed for their involvement in the withdrawal.
Anyone on the list who has retired would be recalled to active duty so that they could be court-martialed. Just like retired Gen. Mark Milley warned before the election.
The ultimate goal is to form a commission which would investigate the withdrawal
“including gathering information about who was directly involved in the decision-making for the military, how it was carried out and whether the military leaders could be eligible for charges as serious as treason.”
I’m no expert on this, but I gotta wonder if you can legitimately charge military leaders with treason if they were following orders from Biden, the Commander in Chief. Shouldn’t you be charging Biden with treason? Is that the endgame here? Charging Biden with treason?
