The Resistance Has Begun!

Hoo boy. The Democrats really screwed the pooch for the election and now it’s beginning to look like they will screw that poor pooch again trying to resist His Orangeness.
At first I was thrilled to read that Govs. JB Pritzker of Illinois and Jared Polis of Colorado were forming a group of Democratic governors to oppose Trump’s deranged policies. They are calling their group Governors Safeguarding Democracy.
They claimed to have six other governors as members. Exceeeept … they don’t. Andy Beshear of Kentucky, Maura Healey of Massachusetts, Michelle Lujan Grisham of New Mexico and Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania had been invited to join the group and declined the invitation. Govs. Tony Evers of Wisconsin and Josh Green of Hawaii are listed but deny membership.
Alex Gough, a spokesman for Gov. Pritzker said that the problem is that the governors don’t want to make it publicly known that they are members.
Yeah, right.
The Democratic leadership is in disarray. The DNC will be holding an election in early 2025 to elect a new chairman. The current DNC chairman Jaime Harrison has said that he is leaving the position. The problem is that no one else wants to run:
