The RNC is Making It Difficult to Qualify for the August Debate
Chris Christie may be able to circumvent the new rule
Ya know how the DNC has crowned Biden as its nominee even though there have been no primaries and no debates? Well, the RNC is trying to do the same thing with Trump.
They’ve come up with a new rule that says candidates are only eligible to participate in the first debate in August if they have 40,000 unique donors.
Hell, that’s a piece of cake for Trump. Small donors are his bread and butter. But other candidates? Not so much.
So, the thinking is that the RNC has instated this rule to protect Trump from candidates who will challenge him on the debate stage.
Because he is their nominee even though there have been no primaries and no debates.
Not surprisingly, the RNC vehemently denies trying to protect Trump or give him an advantage.
Of course, they do.
One candidate who has a shot at both acquiring 40,000 unique donors and wiping the debate stage with Trump’s demented ass is Chris Christie, the former governor of New Jersey and former friend of Trump turned rabid enemy.
