The RNC Wants to Change How Republicans Vote
Suddenly they are all in with early voting, mail-in voting and ballot harvesting
Republicans are really, really worried about the 2024 elections. Know how you can tell? They are starting a big push for early voting, mail-in voting, and … gasp … ballot harvesting.
And Trump is on board with this! Remember, he claimed that early voting, mail-ballots, and ballot harvesting were part of how the 2020 election was stolen.
But now, Trump is fundraising off of it. He’s asking supporters to donate to his “ballot harvesting fund.”
“Either we ballot harvest where we can, or you can say goodbye to America!”
Hmmm … I guess no one has asked him about “2000 Mules.”
So what changed? Democrats have been winning elections using these techniques while Republicans have been losing elections. Part of that is insisting that their voters vote in-person on Election Day only.
The thinking is that they want to lock in their voters early, just like the Democrats do. They call it “Bank Your Vote.” And how are they going to get their voters to do a 180 and suddenly vote early or by mail?
