The Supreme Court Thinks That Americans Are Stupid

When it comes to ethics, they police themselves

Thanks to the egregious misbehavior of one of the Supreme Court justices … I’m lookin’ at you, Clarence … the Chief Justice, John Roberts, was asked by Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee to discuss ethics and the Supreme Court.

Roberts, who is known to have a broomstick up his ass, declined. He provided a note from his mother … I mean … from himself excusing him from appearing and attached a six-page letter signed by all of the justices of the Supreme Court, outlining the ethical standards that they follow.

Two things you need to know. One, and probably the most important, the Supreme Court is the only court in the land which is exempt from the “Code of Conduct for United States Judges” which governs the ethical behavior of every single judge in the country except for the nine judges on the Supreme Court.
